West Coast Leather and designer Skip Pas produced a fashion show at Taormina Motorsports in Redwood City, California on July 12.

Paul Tocatlian who is a high-end fashion photographer and was our master photographer took photos and created a blog after the show.  In addition to the blog, he also posted a podcast.

This fashion show happened through the collaboration of Skip Pas, West Coast Leather, Ted Taormina of Taormina Motorsports, Eugene Kremleff of Sublime Avenue and all of the photographers.  Here is a copy of his blog, as well as the link to it where you can listen to his podcast:

Cars, Cocktails & Couture: Where Taormina Motorsports Meets West Coast Leather – Kisau Photography

Some events are more than just well-staged gatherings. They’re a mood. A pulse. A perfectly timed ignition between style and speed.

That was the atmosphere at “Cars, Cocktails & Couture,” a collaborative showcase hosted by Taormina Motorsports and West Coast Leather. Nestled in the heart of Silicon Valley, the event transformed a high-performance garage into a luxurious playground for fashion lovers, exotic car enthusiasts, and the creatively curious.

I was there with camera in hand, watching the worlds of roaring engines and high fashion collide under the glow of LED lights and metallic reflections. The result? A visual symphony of torque, tailoring, and timeless cool.

Runway Among the Rims: The West Coast Leather Fashion Show

The evening began with the soft hum of conversation and the gentle clink of cocktail glasses, but all eyes soon turned toward the makeshift runway. Flanked by Ferrari silhouettes and Lamborghini lines, models emerged like muses from a motor dream.

West Coast Leather, founded by designer Skip Pas, delivered a collection that fused classic rock energy with a modern edge. The pieces were unapologetic. Textured leathers, bold cuts, crystal embellishments, and silhouettes that commanded attention. From red-and-black biker ensembles to tailored corsets and custom white jackets adorned with signature hardware, each look told a story of confidence, rebellion, and effortless style.

Skip’s signature touch was unmistakable. Known for creating jackets for icons like Jenny McCarthy and Victoria Fuller, his latest designs echoed that same celebrity swagger. This time, they were modeled by a fierce and diverse cast of models including Darlene, Viki, Jamie, Karen, Myranda, Jane, Sarah G., Sarah K., Sneha, Taryn, and many more. Each one commanded the room with poise and presence. Their runway walk reminded us all that leather isn’t just a material but an attitude.

The artistry of the garments was further enhanced by the beauty team, with standout hair and makeup looks created by Mai Hua, Yaya Baltazar, and Angelina. The styling was bold, sleek, and powerful mirroring the confidence of the collection.

Exotic Cars and Custom Builds by Taormina Motorsports

But fashion wasn’t the only star of the night. The runway unfolded against a backdrop of high-performance mechanical artistry curated by Taormina Motorsports.

These cars were sculptures in motion. A parade of rare and refined exotics that included Lamborghinis in a deep ultraviolet hue, classic Ferraris elevated on lifts, and a forest-green Lancia with its exposed engine gleaming under showroom lights. Wherever you turned, chrome met couture.

With over 35 years of experience, Taormina Motorsports is the trusted name in exotic car service, custom builds, and performance enhancements. Their Redwood City facility has become a sanctuary for precision engineering and automotive excellence. From bespoke builds like The Italian Job and The Superleggera to preventative maintenance and tuning, their work reflects passion and meticulous craftsmanship.

The garage was a gallery of motion. And on this night, it became a runway.

The contrast was striking. Models in stilettos moved between rear diffusers and turbochargers. Leather skirts brushed against carbon fiber. Elegance intertwined with engineering. It was cinematic. Raw. Unforgettable.

A Night to Remember. A Future to Build.

As the music faded and the last camera flash dimmed, what lingered was more than the scent of leather and high-octane fuel. It was a shared memory. A reminder that collaboration fuels creativity. That when the right people come together, something unforgettable happens.

This event was a celebration of craft, passion, and the bold spirits who blur the lines between fashion and performance.
